The Miles Cloud

Our new cloud-based computing services can help businesses in any industry save money. Using our cloud gives customers access to enterprise solutions they would not have access to on their own. Internet redundancies and backup systems, for example, can be a big undertaking. Operating these tasks through the superior data center of one provider is more cost-effective than doing so on an individual basis.

A: First of all, kudos to you on providing great customer service.  This is one of our main goals at Miles Technologies as well, and it's something many businesses have forgotten about; great customer service is essential for a successful business!

There are many marketing techniques to choose from to promote your business. Customer testimonials are effective for proving your company's history of satisfying real people's needs.  By learning about previous customers' experiences, prospective customers will gain confidence in your ability to help people just like them achieve desirable results. 

Where to start:

Be proactive. Encourage feedback from current customers to find worthwhile praise you can market. Online Marketing - TestimonialsProvide comment cards or short surveys with an invoice, receipt or as part of a take-away. For example, an auto repair shop might have a small bag with an air freshener, promotional key tag and comment card for each customer. Also, be prepared to address any negative feedback you may receive. Negative responses are more difficult to accept, but correcting those can be even more useful for future testimonials!

You can also encourage feedback on review sites such as Merchant Circle, Yelp, Insider Pages, etc. Ask customers who provide positive reviews for their permission to post the feedback on your own website and others. Consider turning the positive responses into video testimonials to go one step further with effective marketing.

If you have a website, or even a YouTube account, video testimonials are a great visual for people to see real customers giving real feedback. Adding the human element and giving a face to a testimonial can make it more personal. With today’s technology, uploading video from a mobile device, digital camera or web cam is easy! An additional benefit is that search engines crawl videos, which can increase your website’s visibility more than simply waiting for users to come to you.

Seeking Out The Newsworthy
